When coaching weight loss clients, my mission is to create a judgment-free zone and to meet you where you are at. I don't think coaching with high expectations is effective and often those high expectations cause shame. You should not feel shame from your weight loss journey. It is important to remember that your issues with weight are not your fault and the narrative that overweight people are lazy is not true. This narrative does not apply to you and you are not in this alone.
